- Pay dues promptly. Beginning in 2019 dues must be paid prior to June 30, rather than the October
deadline to which we have been accustomed. - Please contact call person within three days of receiving meeting announcements.
- Bring exact amount to cover the cost of the dinner in an envelope bearing your name. (No checks please.) Payment must be made for reservation not cancelled one week prior to the event.
- Regular attendance at meetings is extremely important.
- Committee chairmen and members are encouraged to attend a Regional Conference at least once every four years.
- Nominate appropriate candidates for membership.
- When your nominee has been accepted by the Chapter, hand deliver her invitation for membership. Take her written acceptance notifying the membership committee. Inform the initiate of the date and place of Initiation. Serve as her escort.
- Return your key to the Chapter if you resign or our name is dropped. If you do not, refrain from wearing it. Family members should be notified to return the key of a deceased member to the Chapter. There keys will then be used to replace members’ lost keys.
- Keep the Remembrance Committee informed of any illness, distress or death affecting Sigma members in your area.
- Inform the Program Chairman of any outstanding programs and speakers which would benefit Sigma members.
- Clip news articles regarding sisters and their accomplishments, and give them to the Historical Records Chairman.
